1. Who processes your data

2. How we use enquiry data
We process the name, email address, telephone number, selected honey types and message you send through the enquiry form. We use these details to reply, check availability and arrange possible collection in person. Submitting the form sends us a non-binding enquiry.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a possible contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Without contact details, we cannot reply to your enquiry. Please do not include health information or other sensitive personal data in your message.
We do not use enquiry details to send newsletters or promotional offers.
3. How your enquiry reaches us
We receive your enquiry in our email inbox and send an acknowledgement to the address you provide. The current enquiry form does not store submissions in a customer database.
While you complete the form, its contents remain in the page's memory. We do not include your email address in the page URL.
4. How long we retain data
If an enquiry does not lead to a sale, we delete the correspondence no later than 6 months after the last communication.
If we agree a sale, we retain the necessary details of the arrangement for no longer than 3 years after the honey is handed over to address possible claims. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our rights under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We retain any documents required by law separately, in line with the obligations applicable to each document. If a dispute arises, we may retain necessary data for the duration of that dispute.
5. Keeping the website secure
Operating the website also involves processing technical request data, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser information. These details help us deliver pages, resolve errors and prevent misuse. We also protect the enquiry form by limiting excessive requests from a single IP address.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure and available website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Services we use
We use the following services to run the website and handle enquiries:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting, traffic protection and visitor statistics.
- Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) — sending enquiries and acknowledgement emails.
- Seznam.cz, a.s. (Email Profi) — receiving and retaining email correspondence.
Vercel and Resend may also process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA. Details of their data processing and international transfers can be found in their documentation. 7. Visitor statistics and cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate visitor statistics, such as pages viewed, device type and country of visit. According to the provider's documentation the service does not use analytics cookies.
We remove query parameters and the part after # from URLs sent to analytics. We do not send the contents of the enquiry form to analytics. The purpose is to understand how the website is used.
The enquiry form itself does not require cookies. We do not embed advertising trackers on the website.
8. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, or restriction of processing. You also have the right to data portability in the cases specified by the GDPR. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Please email info@sadlesmed.cz. We will handle your request without undue delay, normally within one month. If an extension is necessary for legal reasons, we will let you know in good time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects when handling enquiries.
